Emergency Response Fund

New humanitarian crises tragically arise everyday. It’s not always clear what the needs of each group of victims will be depending on the nature of the disaster – some disasters demand clean water and food, medical supplies are more crucial for others and others may require shelter more urgently. The mission of Revive is always to prioritise life preservation, so to deliver to the victims of humanitarian disasters, whatever is needed most, wherever it is needed most. By donating to this fund, you are preserving precious lives who are the victims of humanitarian disasters and war zones today!

In the footprints of a humanitarian disaster victim

As a victim of a humanitarian disaster, you remember a time when your life was comfortable. Your family were around, you could hear the laughter and play of children and life was busy with normality. Since the disaster, your time is spent searching for the next meal (which is often just a stale piece of bread) and trying to collect safe water to drink. Many of your family members have died as there is no access to medical help and you wonder, as you shiver yourself to sleep in your tent, will there disease kill you next, or will the missiles?

Allah says in the Qur’an “IF ANYONE SAVED A LIFE IT WOULD BE AS IF HE SAVED THE LIFE OF THE WHOLE OF HUMANITY.” [QURAN 5:3]
