Can you imagine surviving a Ramadan amongst death and devastation?
Since October last year. we have witnessed 40,000 deaths in Gaza. The mass destruction of homes, hospitals and basic infrastructure has caused over 1.9 million people to be displaced from their homes. Many are on the streets, those who are considered fortunate take shelter in tents. Most are without the means to cook meals for themselves. They will fast in Gaza, without knowing if food will come to them at Iftar time.

Can you imagine fasting all day long, without knowing if you will have a meal to relieve your hunger at Iftar time? Tragically, this is the reality for thousands in Gaza, Syria and Yemen this Ramadan. How can our hunger truly be satisfied if we haven’t satisfied the hunger of our brothers and sisters who are suffering the most? We have been on the ground distributing hot meals since October, let’s not leave the people in Gaza to starve in Ramadan!

“Oh Allah bless us in our Sham and in our Yemen” (Bukhari & Muslim)

Let’s feed 1000 Iftars every single day throughout Ramadan in Gaza, Syria and Yemen!
Revive will be distributing hot meals in Gaza to feed 1000 people daily throughout Ramadan, as most lack the basic means needed to prepare a meal. Let’s not forget Syria and Yemen, also amongst the worst humanitarian disasters of the 21st Century with widespread starvation. Food parcels will be provided to feed 1000 refugees daily in Syria and 1000 refugees daily in Yemen so that they can prepare meals for their family throughout the month – In order to do this we need your help!

Revive’s bread factory in Syria will be distributing over 4300 pieces of freshly baked Syrian breads each day in Ramadan. This distribution will continue all year long until Ramadan 2025! Imagine the reward for having supported this distribution until Ramadan next year as your donation continues to be recycled all year long!

By distributing your Sadaqah & Zakat donations in a sustainable way such as Iftar throughout Ramadan, shelter in Gaza and bread distribution in Syria throughout the year, not only do we enable people to begin to rebuild their lives but we also maximise the ongoing reward you earn from your donations this Ramadan!

Our Ramadan Appeal is fully Zakat & Sadaqah eligible!

The Prophet ﷺ said “The people of Yemen have the gentlest and most clement of hearts. Faith is Yemeni and Wisdom is Yemeni” Bukhari

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:  “There is no day on which the people get up but two angels come down and one of them says, ‘O Allah, give in compensation to the one who spends (in charity),’ and the other says, ‘O Allah, destroy the one who withholds.’”
