Emergency Fund
When humanitarian disasters arise, so do urgent needs of the victims on the ground. Revive uses our networks of Scholars to respond rapidly to humanitarian disasters on the ground, providing lifesaving humanitarian aid in the immediate and ongoing aftermath of humanitarian disaster, where the basic essentials of life, preserve life. Emergency donations are utilised to support humanitarian disasters, or to “top-up” a sudden need in an existing fund, such as to provide extra food or shelter due to a sudden surge in demand in Gaza. By donating to Revive’s emergency fund, you help to stabilise the needs of victims of humanitarian disasters, which can be the difference between life and death.
What disasters has the emergency fund supported to date?
EARTHQUAKES
Revive responded on the ground within 48 hours during the 2023 Syria, Turkey and Morocco earthquake.
FLOODS
Emergency aid was provided during the 2022 devastating floods in Pakistan.
WAR
In Syria and Gaza Revive has responded rapidly to support victims of shelling on the ground, by utilising emergency funds.
RAPID RESPONSE
Emergency donations assisted Revive in responding to escalation in Gaza within 48 hours in October 2023.

How far can your donation go?
Your donation will be used towards whatever is needed the most in the wake of a humanitarian aid disaster. Here are some examples of how far your donation can reach:
£30 can provide 300 flatbreads
£50 can provide at least 200 litres of water
£55 can provide a family with food for a month
£200 can provide shelter for displaced families
Prices of aid vary across regions, due to economic instability, scarcity and increased demand in the wake of humanitarian disasters. Revive always works to distribute aid sustainably, in order to reach as many beneficiaries as possible. We work with multiple partners in each region to ensure a fair price for aid is always sought, without compromising on quality. Prices listed above are a guide and represent the average price of aid being distribution as per July 2024.
