2024 is upon us as we watch on in horror as Gaza continues to be bombarded. Many feel helpless. However, we are not helpless. We might not be able to click a button which stops the suffering in Gaza, but we can lessen the suffering for individuals out there with the distribution we are carrying out on the ground in South Gaza.
Distributing in Gaza has faced its challenges. Operating within a war zone, to vulnerable victims of genocide, with border blockages certainly causes distribution to be challenging. However, it hasn’t stopped us and we will continue to help the innocent victims of this violence.
Since violence escalated in Gaza back in October, this is the impact we have made, with your donations, so far:
Revive have distributed since October 7th:
• Daily hot meals distributed
• 5000 food baskets
• 5000 shop coupons which sustained people for 2 weeks at a time.
• 5000 litres of fuel which powered water pump, providing clean water.
• Constructed a desalination plant
• 400 mattresses
Distribution of 200 tents for shelter is currently in process.
