Ramadan 2024 arrived during the midst of an intensifying humanitarian disaster in Gaza. The timing of the arrival of Ramadan was a mercy to the people of Gaza and beyond, given that the Ummah gives charity (sadaqah) generously during this Blessed Month. Revives focus for Gaza for the coming of Ramadan was to immediately offer relief with food packages but also to establish a longer-term projects and offer some food sustainability in the region. Furthermore, Revive sought to renew commitments to existing communities in Syria, Yemen and Bosnia where they have offered long-term humanitarian assistance.
